<strong>hiding<\/strong> as many streams as you need.\u00a0 Some <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>SNIP<\/strong><\/span> operators requested this feature simply for security reasons, while others (typically researchers) did not want transitory data streams to appear alongside more &#8220;stable&#8221; ones.\u00a0\u00a0 Each of the basic <a href=\"\/kb\/knowledge-base\/stream-types\/\">stream types<\/a> (where it makes any logical sense) now has support for this ability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Other improvements were also added in this release of <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>SNIP<\/strong><\/span> including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The IP usage report format has been revised to be terser and also to be sorted by the IP used and the User agent string.\u00a0 You can now more easily see who has been connecting to your machine, what devices they are using, what mountPt streams they use, and other useful management details in this report.<\/li>\n<li>The color highlighting scheme which is used in the <a href=\"\/kb\/knowledge-base\/the-pushed-streams-tab\/\">PUSH-In tab<\/a> now changes to reflect a stream timing out and going stale. Repeated connections by PUSH-In <a href=\"\/kb\/knowledge-base\/reserving-pushed-mountpoint\/\">reservation devices<\/a> are also now counted and displayed.<\/li>\n<li>Some refactoring was done the way the Client connection and disconnection logic is handled to be more forgiving with very slow <a href=\"\/kb\/knowledge-base\/question-what-is-an-ntrip-client\/\">NTRIP Client<\/a> devices whose connection process who may take tens of seconds to fully complete.<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"\/kb\/knowledge-base\/navigation-filter-types\/\">Navigation filter<\/a> solution and resulting <a href=\"\/kb\/knowledge-base\/basic-navigation-chart-types\/\">graphical displays<\/a> have been adjusted to operate with L1-only data streams.<\/li>\n<li>The process of populating the message field in a\u00a0 Caster Table Entry now removes the <strong>extra space<\/strong> after a comma to produce slight smaller tables at the expense of readability.\u00a0 Both forms are valid.<br \/>\n&#8220;;RTCM 3;1004(1), 1005(15), 1012(1);&#8221; \u00a0 <em>is now expressed as:\u00a0\u00a0 &#8220;<\/em>;RTCM 3;1004(1),1005(15),1012(1);&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>The Caster Table produced by <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>SNIP<\/strong><\/span> now supports automatically sending a NET record.\u00a0 NET records provide an (optional) way to inform other parties how to contact you in order to get an account and access your Caster.\u00a0 The contact data can be set (or not) using the <a href=\"\/kb\/knowledge-base\/the-preferences-dialog\/\">Preferences <\/a>dialog box.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>For Ubuntu 64b:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Release is also out.\u00a0 <\/strong>The Ubuntu 1.10.0 beta release uses the same code as the Window 32\/64 bit release and has also been released at this time.\u00a0 You can find the download link button alongside the Window 32\/64 button at this time.<\/p>\n<h4><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Known <\/span><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Ubuntu issue with the 1.10 release.<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>This 10th release has an issue with NEAR streams when there is only a single stream in the pool.\u00a0 It will not then serve data to clients.\u00a0 Ensure you NEAR streams have at least two members in the pool to overcome this.\u00a0\u00a0 This issues is not present in latter issues of <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>SNIP<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><a href=\"\/kb\/knowledge-base\/release-1_8_0-changes\/\">The Prior Windows Release<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.use-snip.com\/kb\/knowledge-base\/release-1_7_0-changes\/\">The Prior Ubuntu Release<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">New to <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>SNIP<\/strong><\/span>?\u00a0 Take a <a href=\"\/kb\/knowledge-base\/snip-a-high-level-tour\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">quick tour<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>SNIP<\/strong> <\/span>is an <a href=\"\/kb\/knowledge-base\/question-what-is-an-ntrip-caster\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">NTRIP Caster<\/a>.<br \/>\nYou can also use <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>SNIP<\/strong><\/span> as an <a href=\"\/kb\/knowledge-base\/question-what-is-an-ntrip-server\/\">NTRIP Server<\/a> with your existing GNSS devices<br \/>\nIf you are seeking for an <a href=\"\/kb\/knowledge-base\/question-what-is-an-ntrip-client\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">NTRIP Client<\/a>, try one of the products mentioned <a href=\"\/kb\/knowledge-base\/where-do-i-get-a-free-ntrip-client\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here <\/a>or <a href=\"\/kb\/knowledge-base\/question-what-ntrip-client-should-i-use\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">You can always obtain the most current release of <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>SNIP<\/strong><\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.use-snip.com\/download\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For 32-bit Only Users.\u00a0 Release 1.12.00 depends on having a 64-bit OS to run.
