We maintain two<\/strong> <\/span>open SNIP\u00ae<\/strong><\/span> NTRIP Casters for community use. The first is at:<\/p>\n

#1\u00a0 NTRIP.itsware.net\u00a0\u00a0 port 2101<\/strong><\/h2>\n

You do not need an account or a password to connect and use it; it is free.<\/p>\n

Most public and private NTRIP Casters are “closed” in that you must first register with the owner\/operator before your NTRIP client software can connect and get any data.\u00a0 You can elect to run your copy of SNIP<\/strong><\/span> in either open<\/em> or closed<\/em> mode as well.<\/p>\n

Contact the operator of any NTRIP Caster you wish to connect to in order to understand how to register on their network.\u00a0 Some networks, or some streams within some networks, involve monetary compensation for the operators.<\/p>\n

The NTRIP.itsware.net<\/strong> caster is intended to support our user community throughout the world.\u00a0 The data streams chosen represent a cross section of locations where we are developing other work.\u00a0 In the caster holdings you can find baselines ranging from just over one meter to 50km and more, using both L1 and L2 and some low cost L1 only sources such as uBlox.\u00a0 Both Legacy RTCM and the newer MSM message content.\u00a0 You can use these data products to confirm that your copies of SNIP<\/strong><\/span> or RTKLIB or other GNSS tools are working as expected. For example, you can easily connect to any two nearby local reference stations in our coverage area, as well as our worldwide broadcast ephemeris stream, and perform various types of RTK navigation operations on the data sets.<\/p>\n

We also operate a free open NTRIP Caster at RTK2go.com<\/a> which any party can use to send their data to.\u00a0 This includes commercial usage.\u00a0 Use this resource to send your Base Station data to others.<\/strong>\u00a0 This allows those without a static IP, or if they do not want to operate their own Caster, to provide corrections to others (or themselves).\u00a0 The RTK2go.com<\/a> Caster is one of a growing number of free open Caster services now on the market as the deployment of RTK style navigation grows.<\/p>\n
