A user feedback request.<\/h3>\n

Many, if not most, of the users of this knowledge base<\/strong><\/em> site are avid SNIP<\/strong><\/span> users.\u00a0 There are several thousand of you now, running various sized SNIP<\/strong><\/span> NTRIP Caster<\/a> networks all over the globe.\u00a0 And we are very pleased with the positive feedback and the market acceptance of SNIP<\/span><\/strong> since its introduction 4 years ago.\u00a0 SNIP<\/strong><\/span>‘s rich feature set, low acquisition cost<\/a>, and ease of use have proven to be a game changer in the rather limited NTRIP community.<\/p>\n

We would like to ask our users, both new and old, for a moment of their time to help us make SNIP<\/strong> <\/span>a better tool.\u00a0 We are also asking potential new users as they download evaluation copies to do the same.<\/p>\n

The form is anonymous, but we do know the IP address from which you logged in when it was completed.<\/p>\n

We got a good list of final features for Rev 2.x which we have now completed (see the pre-release<\/a> page for current efforts each month).\u00a0 These tend to be released into production on a bi-monthly basis.\u00a0 We feel overall that even our least featured model, SNIP<\/strong><\/span> Lite<\/em><\/strong><\/span>,\u00a0 provides a well rounded set of core features.\u00a0 If you disagree, please let us know.\u00a0 We strive to make sure that SNIP<\/strong><\/span> will continue to be the first choice for an NTRIP Caster for most deployments.<\/p>\n

Now we are developing SNIP<\/strong><\/span> Rev 3<\/strong><\/span> which will open the internal SNIP<\/strong><\/span> API for selected plug-in modules various Basic<\/em> <\/strong><\/span>and Pro<\/em> <\/strong><\/span>deployments have requested.\u00a0\u00a0 The release date in January 2021.\u00a0 The inputs we receive from these surveys further informs our product planning road map for 2021.\u00a0 Many of the feature requests we now receive deal with specialty needs for certain industry segments.\u00a0 Because these are often of less interest to general SNIP<\/strong><\/span> operators, we have developed a Plug-In<\/strong><\/em><\/span> systems where deployments need only purchase the Plug-Ins of interest to them.<\/p>\n
