{"id":5387,"date":"2018-06-28T15:47:21","date_gmt":"2018-06-28T15:47:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.use-snip.com\/kb\/?post_type=ht_kb&#038;p=5387"},"modified":"2019-12-23T16:46:10","modified_gmt":"2019-12-23T16:46:10","slug":"status-button-report","status":"publish","type":"ht_kb","link":"https:\/\/www.use-snip.com\/kb\/knowledge-base\/status-button-report\/","title":{"rendered":"Status Report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Status Report provides a general summary of the <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>SNIP<\/strong><\/span> Caster state.\u00a0 It lists both the current and past MountPts (data streams) as well as several other key values about the state of operations.\u00a0 The report is organized along the lines of a Caster table but with more readable data content which list how long each connection has operated since any prior data interruption.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><em><strong>Hint<\/strong><\/em><\/span>: If you use a 3rd party monitoring service, you may wish to tell the remote robot to check this page, if it requires a specific page to use for periodic downloading.<\/p>\n<p>There are additional buttons\/links in the report that provide further details including<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Details about any current mountPt (if enabled by operator) including equipment and message contents, see this article for details.<\/li>\n<li>A display of the map location for each mountPt, based on it ECEF message values, see this article for details.<\/li>\n<li>A list of former mountPts (data streams) that are not longer present on the Caster (useful for debugging by data providers)<\/li>\n<li>A list of the different NTRIP User Agents that have connected. Additional buttons allow filtering this list, see this article for details.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Near the bottom of the report is a <strong>status summery<\/strong> of the <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>SNIP<\/strong><\/span> operations since your node was last started, see this article for details.<\/p>\n<p>At the top of the report is a time stamp and contact detail (based on your preferences settings) for your NTRIP Client Users to see.\u00a0 At the bottom of the report (when used on public web pages) is a common section with links to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A home link page for your form web site<\/li>\n<li>The raw Caster Table, in its styled web page format<\/li>\n<li>A &#8220;status&#8221; and &#8220;Show Main Status Page&#8221; in the <em>Preferences<\/em> dialog.\u00a0 The display of additional details about each active mountPts can be disabled by UN-checking the box &#8220;Per-Stream Status Links&#8221;
