{"id":8380,"date":"2022-06-20T15:39:20","date_gmt":"2022-06-20T15:39:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.use-snip.com\/kb\/?post_type=ht_kb&#038;p=8380"},"modified":"2023-09-08T15:11:11","modified_gmt":"2023-09-08T15:11:11","slug":"web-api-map-baseusers","status":"publish","type":"ht_kb","link":"https:\/\/www.use-snip.com\/kb\/knowledge-base\/web-api-map-baseusers\/","title":{"rendered":"Web API, Map Base+Users"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There are several ways to display maps of either connected Users (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.use-snip.com\/kb\/knowledge-base\/question-what-is-an-ntrip-client\/\">NTRIP Clients<\/a>) or Base Station in <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>SNIP<\/strong><\/span>.\u00a0\u00a0 These provide a Google Map view of the object and surrounding features.\u00a0 From <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>SNIP<\/strong><\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.use-snip.com\/kb\/knowledge-base\/release-3_11_00-changes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rev 3.11<\/a> onward, radius coverage rings are also added to the images at baseline distances of 10 and 50 km.<\/p>\n<p>The button <strong>Display Base and Users in a Map<\/strong> which is found in the Base Station reports when using the Web API can be used to combine these two views into a single map.\u00a0 It shows both the Base Station and all nearby connected Users.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 In the below image two marine users are connected to the nearby base (click to enlarge these images).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.use-snip.com\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Map_And_2Users.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-8381 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.use-snip.com\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Map_And_2Users-300x180.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"625\" height=\"375\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.use-snip.com\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Map_And_2Users-300x180.png 300w, https:\/\/www.use-snip.com\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Map_And_2Users-1024x614.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.use-snip.com\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Map_And_2Users-768x461.png 768w, https:\/\/www.use-snip.com\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Map_And_2Users-50x30.png 50w, https:\/\/www.use-snip.com\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Map_And_2Users-920x552.png 920w, https:\/\/www.use-snip.com\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Map_And_2Users-600x360.png 600w, https:\/\/www.use-snip.com\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Map_And_2Users-320x192.png 320w, https:\/\/www.use-snip.com\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Map_And_2Users.png 1250w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 625px) 100vw, 625px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The map is interactive.\u00a0 You can pan and zoom the display.
