This article describes the Base Station report <\/em><\/strong>which the Web API provides.\u00a0 SNIP<\/strong><\/span> allows requesting this report remotely with any browser by authorized users.\u00a0 An active Web API Plug-in<\/a> is required for this feature.\u00a0 First Login<\/strong> <\/a>from an authorized account with either read-write<\/em> privileges, or with read-only<\/em> privileges. If you use an account with only read-only<\/em> privileges, some of the information shown is reduced. [Click to enlarge the image]<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The returned report contains much of the same summary information which is shown in the tooltip on the SNIP<\/strong><\/span> application (from the desktop, hover your mouse over any Base Station to see this).<\/p>\n

The mountPt name and general location of the base is presented, as well as the IP from which it connected to the Caster and the NTRIP Agent used.\u00a0 Click on the Source IP<\/strong> to get an IP report.<\/p>\n

The location of the antenna center point is shown next in various coordinate units. Click on the Map-It<\/strong> button to be taken to an interactive Google map of the surrounding area.<\/p>\n

Next a summary of the decoded message contents is shown.\u00a0 You can decode these messages further in real time using the RTCM message decoder<\/a> dialog.<\/p>\n

Next is the Display Base and Users in a Map<\/strong> button which can be used to display both the Base Station and all the currently connected Users on a common map.\u00a0 This article<\/a> describes its use in more detail.<\/p>\n

Below this is a table of the five currently connected users.\u00a0 You will note that some have sent NMEA $GGA<\/a> information to the Caster while others have not.<\/p>\n

For each connected user there are two buttons.\u00a0 Pressing the button with the user’s name displays a User Report<\/strong> for that user.\u00a0 Pressing the buttons marked Map Path<\/strong> or Map IP<\/strong> produced only the map portion of the User Report.\u00a0 The Map Path variant uses the prior NMEA $GGA<\/a> sentences to plot the past movements (up for a few thousand points)\u00a0 The Map IP variant uses the source IP to plot a gross estimate<\/a> of the users location.<\/p>\n

This is followed by the current Caster Table entry<\/a> for this Base Station.<\/p>\n

Finally, some statistical data about the overall connection time and data exchanged between the Base Station and the Caster is provided.<\/p>\n
